SMS service - track your application

What does it offer? |
| |
SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text in English only and re-assures you that your visa application is progressing towards the final stages of the visa application process. At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message (in English only) to your registered email address, informing you that the UK Border Agency has made a decision on your visa application and your documents have been returned.
You can buy this service for GH 3.50 only (VAT included); at the same time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre.

Priority Visa
Kindly note, if you have previously travelled to the UK/USA/Australia/Canada or New Zealand in the past 5years on a visit visa and have not been refused a visa or have any other adverse Immigration history – then you may be eligible to apply for our priority visa service. This service applies to visit visa categories only.
You will be required to pay a fee of GHC 207 for the Priority Service. Your visa application will be brought to the front of the queue, providing there is no adverse immigration history. Experience has shown that decisions can be made within 5 working days but this is not a guarantee.

Courier service
|
|
Applicants applying from the VFS UKBA Visa Centre, Accra can use the courier service to return the decision on their visa application and documents to their home or work address. Delivery usually takes 3 working days from when the visa application centre receives your documents from the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission Accra. If you have paid for this service, you can track your shipment using your airway bill. This facility is available at an extra cost
